If there's one thing I've learned about Brits - they are known for attempting insane speed records.  This time, it's RAF Pilot Andy Green who will be driving in South Africa.  I hope it goes well but considering how dangerous the sound-barrier trials have been - this one is looking in serious doubt.   At speeds such as this, problems (even minor ones) are usually fatal.
